Books by Savitri Devi and Miguel Serrano Republished by Revisionist Books and the 55 Club

I wish to draw my readers' attention to two of Savitri Devi's books which after many years have been republished by Revisionist Books-Joy of the Sun. The Beautiful Life of Akhnaton, King of Egypt, Told To Young People (1942) and A Son of God. The Life and Philosopy of Akhnaton King of Egypt (1946).

I purchased mine via Amazon.UK and they have subsequently been withdrawn from sale (make your own mind up about that). Although they no longer print them you can instead buy them via Lulu Books who also print them. A similar thing happened to the 55 Club's The Great Yearning so it is important to buy these books whilst they are available.

Revisionist Books have also republished Impeachment of Man, Long-Whiskers and the Two Legged Goddess, or The True Story of a "Most Objectional Nazi" and.... half-a-dozen Cats, The Lightning and the Sun, Defiance, Pilgramage and Gold in the Furnace. It is hoped that one day soon they or another publisher will translate and publish other works by Savitri, namely L'Etang aux lotus (The Lotus Pond), a very early work written in 1935 but published in 1940 and Souvenirs et reflexions d’une aryenne (Memories and Reflections of an Aryan Woman), written between 1968-1971 and published in 1976.  Revisionist Books have also republished the writings of the late great Colin Jordan; National Socialism: Vanguard of the Future and The National Vanguard: The Way Forward. The 55 Club have also republished three more works by Miguel Serrano, brought together in a single volume: Serrano: the early years, containing The Ultimate Flower, Ell/Ella: The Book of Magical Amor and Nietzsche and the Eternal Return. This work can be obtained through Amazon.

My readers will not need me to remind them that Savitri Devi is the founder of Esoteric National Socialism and that Miguel Serrano followed in her footsteps but expanded on the doctrine. Their work is thus essential for an understanding of the Aryan Weltanschauung from an esoteric perspective.

The Ancient Presence of the Germanic Peoples in England

I have already demonstrated on these blogs that the Germanic peoples had a much earlier presence in the British Isles than the hitherto accepted date of around 449CE (Anglo-Saxon Chronicles). See my article The Belgae and the Ancient Germanic Colonisation of England (11/4/13)

Indeed the English language itself as Oppenheimer has demonstrated is much older than linguists conventionally give credit to. Indeed it may represent an ancient form of Germanic and be separate from the West Germanic (or North Germanic) language groups. The presence of the Germanic English tribes may be detected right back to the Bronze and even Neolithic Ages. Thus as our Folk Warder, Wulf Ingessunu rightly points out the English RETURNED to these islands in the 5th century CE. The complete lack of a Celtic or ancient British presence in many parts of southern Britain is due to the fact that large parts of England were already colonised by the English prior to the 5th century. This helps to explain the complete lack of Celtic loan words, place names or evidence of much warfare.

".....but starts to look as if it could include some of the period of the Later Neolithic and Bronze Age, when, as we have seen, there do appear to be genetic and cultural influences coming into Eastern England from southern Scandinavia and North-West Europe." (The Origins of the British)

The key to this puzzle is to be found in the Belgae who Caesar commented were a separate people from the Gauls:

 "The whole of Gaul is divided into three parts, one of which the Belgae inhabit, the Aquitani another, and the third a people who in their own language are called `Celts`, but in ours, `Gauls`." (De Bello Gallico)

Indeed not only were the Belgae separate from the Gauls but contrary to modern sloppy scholarship they were in fact a Germanic people:
"When Caesar asked the two convoys about the Belgic states-how many were under arms, and what was their strength in war-he discovered that most of the Belgae were of German extraction, and had long ago crossed the Rhine and settled on the western side because of the fertility of the soil. They had forced out the Gauls who dwelt there."(De Bello Gallico) [My emphasis]

Oppenheimer believes that the Belgae probably spoke a Germanic language and their presence in Britain is to be detected BEFORE the Roman invasion:

"perhaps ancestral to Dutch or Frisian which they carried to England even before the Roman invasions."
 "While several personal and tribal names in Belgica described by Caesar have a clearly Gaulish derivation, a larger proportion do not, and some may have belonged to the Germanic branch of Indo-European."

Significantly the Belgae occupied those areas of England which were subsequently colonised by the Anglo-Saxons on their arrival. This enable a smooth transition for the planting of the Anglo-Saxons in England.

It is my belief that the English were responsible for the construction of phases II and III of Stonehenge. Academics attribute this monument to the Indo-European Wessex Warrior culture. It is accepted that these builders of Stonehenge (an Old English word) spoke an Indo-European language but scholars are at a loss to know which one. I think this article answers that question!

Blood and Soil and our Sonship to the Gods

Do the Gods reside within or are confined to a geographical place or do they live within their folk? From a folkish perspective I would have to answer that the latter is true. Both the Eddas and the writings of Tacitus tell us clearly that we, the Ario-Germanic peoples are the offspring of our Gods:

"In ancient lays, their only type of historical tradition, they celebrate Tuisto, a god brought forth from the earth. They attribute to him a son, Mannus, the source and founder of their people, and to Mannus three sons, from whose names those nearest the Ocean are Ingvaeones, those in the middle Herminones, and the rest Istvaeones." (Germania 2.2, Rives translation)
 "In the traditional songs which form their only record of the past the Germans celebrate an earth-born god called Tuisto. His son Mannus is supposed to be the fountain-head of their race and himself to have begotten three sons who gave their names to three groups of tribes-the Ingvaeones, nearest the sea; the Herminones, in the interior; and the Istvaeones, who comprise all the rest." (Germania 2, Mattingley/Handford translation)
The underlining is mine for emphasis. The Gods Tuisto and Mannus are not directly referred to in the Eddas but we must bear in mind that over 1,000 years separates these writings and Germania is more concerned with continental Germania (broadly the German-speaking lands and the Low Countries).
Rudolf Simek makes the interesting observation that:

"The structure of the mythical genealogy (Tuisto-Mannus-3 sons) is also found in the cosmogeny of the Edda where Buri-Borr-Odin/Vili/Ve are said to be the ancestors of all the other gods.
"Mannus corresponds to the progenitor Manus (manu 'man') in the Old Indian myth of creation. The > myth of descendancy of Mannus would appear to be traceable back to Indo-Germanic times." (Dictionary of Northern Mythology

The God Mannus is represented by the Mannaz/Mann/Madhr/Man Rune. As Edred Thorsson in his book Futhark (1984) states:

"This is the rune that describes the Germanic peoples as being descended from their divine order and defines mankind as the progeny of the gods."

So in Germania we have an ancient myth traceable not only to the Germanic peoples but to the undivided Aryans. Simek has this to say about Tuisto:

"Tuisto seems to be related to the proto-giant> Ymir as the earth-born hermaphrodite ancestor of the race of man, and therefore the meaning of the name Tuisto as 'hermaphrodite' is quite likely. The form of the name Tuisco (the actual manuscript reading) can also be traced back etymologically to the same basic meaning."

Simek also points out that one of Odin's by-names is Tveggi, meaning 'the hermaphrodite, the double'.  However he explains that this is more likely to do with "the dark and light aspects of his character" than anything else.

Odin is certainly represented as the creator of man. This clearly is demonstrated in Voluspa 17 and 18 in the Elder Edda. Rig who may be either Odin or Heimdall is responsible for the creation of the Germanic castes, a tripartite ordering that goes back to Aryan times. From the Anglo-Saxon Chronicles and other historical records and sagas Odin is represented as the ancestor of noble lineages but He is also the ancestor of all Teutons, not just the noble and powerful. The divine sonship of all Teutons is made abundantly clear in Germania 2.

Our Gods therefore are primarily resident within us, within our blood or DNA as taught by Carl Gustav Jung in his remarkable essay Wotan (1936). All those who are of Germanic blood are the sons and daughters of Woden/Wodan/Wotan/Odin. Whereever we go in this world (or in other worlds) the Gods are contained within us. However the long settlement of Germanic  peoples within a defined territory  does sanctify the soil and make it holy. This is the case not only in Scandinavia and Germania but in England also. This is the blood and soil aspect of our religion.
